The third game of the DOOM series (now in full 3D) takes gamers through the depths of Hell, where technology and demons meet. But this time round, the game is more focused on horror elements than previous games in series.
Doom 3 is set in the year 2145, on Mars. You start as an unnamed marine soldier sent to the Red Planet, where a corporation named The Union Aerospace Corporation makes secret experiments based on ancient aliens' technology. People around the base are on the edge, & something is not right. You receive your first simple mission and when you depart, the game really kicks off.
This third major release of the Doom series is especially based on single player experience. As in most First Person Shooter games, you aim, you shoot, & you run... Enemies are zombified humans from the base or daemons straight from Hell. Doom 3 is much darker visually than previous games - you can use a flashlight in dark corridors, but you must choose between various weapons and the flashlight (the marine can't use them both in same time.)
The game has multiplayer with four game modes for four players.

Subject: Working key if anyone uses 1.3.1 patch
I just found the actual working key for the latest patch, since the game asks for the CD key once again and not applicable for the Install key at the initial setup;

Subject: I found a fix for Resurrection of Evil Expansion CD key glitch
If you want to play Resurrection of Evil in DOOM 3 without getting CD key annoying prompt glitch follow these steps and it will 100% help I tried it myself after figuring it out for 12 hours LMAO
First) Download DOOM 3 Installation ISO from here
Second) Go find a CD key from somewhere (TSRH keygen)
Third) Install DOOM 3 and type the CD key you got when asked during the beginning of the installation
Fourth) Download Resurrection of Evil from here and install 1.2 patch (included in the installtion already) and also the CD key that worked for DOOM 3 can work with ROE too which is a good thing
Fifth) go to GameBurnWorld website and search for DOOM 3, find DOOM 3 1.2 fixed exe and download it
Sixth) Extract the download fixed exe and replace it with the DOOM 3 exe in your game folder
Seventh) Open DOOM3.exe and not ROE.exe and if the game asks you for CD key enter the one you have typed in the installation (other different CD keys can work too) and it will work, same CD key for DOOM 3 can work for ROE so you are good to go
NOTES: -in 1.2 there is no multiplayer and the lost mission pack from BFG edition can't be installed on this version sadly even if you have ROE already installed
-If you patch the game to 1.3 then ROE will break and forces you to type your CD key again and this type it will keep telling you it's invalid over and ove no matter how many CD keys you enter and even if they are legit purchased ones
-1.3 is the version that allows you to play Multiplayer
-There is no exe crack or fix for 1.3 CD key glitch sadly because I searched everywhere and the only thing for 1.3 is a windows 98 fixed exe and it will not help
My advice: make two separate folders, one with DOOM 3 patched to 1.3 in order to play Multiplayer and the other folder is DOOM 3 patched to 1.2 and with RoE expansion installed
